Purpose Fuel exists to help people fuel their day with intention while helping underrepresented entrepreneurs access the coaching, resources, and capital they need to build purpose-filled businesses, create economic opportunity, and turn their dreams into a lasting legacy.

Purpose Fuel was born from a simple childhood memory and a much bigger mission.

As a little girl, I watched my father wake up early every morning before the world had fully stirred. Before the lawn care equipment started. Before the phone calls. Before the long workday ahead. Before he stepped into his role as an entrepreneur, provider, and dream builder, he would sit with a cup of coffee.

To me, it was just coffee.

So one day, I asked him why he drank it every day.

He looked at me and said, “Peaches,” which was his nickname for me, “it’s my purpose fuel! Just like gas for a car, Daddy needs fuel to jumpstart his purpose for the day.”

That moment stayed with me.

It was sweet. It was simple. It was my father being my father. But over time, those words became something more. They became a reminder that every person needs something that helps them rise, focus, dream, build, and keep going.

For my father, coffee was part of his morning rhythm. But purpose was the real fuel.

He was a hardworking entrepreneur who ran a lawn care service and dreamed of building something bigger. He wanted to grow a 7-figure business, hire employees, buy more equipment and trucks, secure larger contracts, and create a company that could outlive his daily labor.

He had vision.
He had work ethic.
He had purpose.

But like so many minority entrepreneurs, he did not have access to the business coaching, strategic guidance, capital, and resources that could have helped him fully realize that dream.

My father passed away as a 74-year-old entrepreneur, still carrying a dream that deserved more support, more opportunity, and more room to grow.

Purpose Fuel was created in honor of that dream and the countless dreams like his.

Why We Exist

Many entrepreneurs are not short on vision. They are short on access.

Across communities, especially among minority, underrepresented, and underestimated entrepreneurs, too many people have powerful ideas, strong work ethic, and deep purpose, but lack the resources needed to grow. They may not have access to business coaching, startup capital, financial education, supportive networks, or the kind of strategic guidance that turns hustle into a scalable enterprise.

We believe that should change!

Purpose Fuel is more than coffee and tea. It is a daily invitation to live, work, build, and give with purpose.

Every cup represents a bigger story. A story of legacy. A story of entrepreneurship. A story of honoring those who kept going, even when the road was harder than it should have been.

Our Partnership With Advancing The Seed, Inc.

We have partnered with Advancing The Seed, Inc., a Southern California-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower and equip underrepresented entrepreneurs and their communities for economic mobility, entrepreneurship, and strong leadership.

Through entrepreneurship training, coaching, mentorship, access to technology, financial education, and pathways to capital, Advancing The Seed helps emerging entrepreneurs and underserved communities build the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to move from surviving to thriving.

Together, Purpose Fuel and Advancing The Seed are working toward a shared goal: helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs access the resources they need to build stronger businesses and stronger futures.

The Purpose Fuel Investor’s Fund

Through this partnership, our goal is to help create a Purpose Fuel Investor’s Fund.

This fund will use creative capital to invest in entrepreneurs and small businesses participating in Advancing The Seed’s programs. The vision is to help provide flexible support that can open doors for business owners who are ready to grow but need access to funding, coaching, tools, equipment, technology, or other resources that help move their dreams forward.

Because sometimes, the difference between a dream that stalls and a dream that scales is access.
